Job description:

Foxconn Interconnect Technology is seeking a Development Engineer / Electrical Engineer at the Irvine, CA for the R&D Department.

Specific Duties: High-speed connectivity solutions for 800G, particularly DACs, ACCs, and AECs

Experience preferred:

• Design and development of DAC, ACC, and AEC solutions for 800G and beyond. Understand the data rate requirements for 800G and above.
• Compliance with industry standards and certifications for high-speed cables.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as IEEE 802.3 and relevant certifications.
• Advanced knowledge of signal integrity principles to optimize high-speed data transmission. Implement design strategies to mitigate signal degradation, crosstalk, and other potential challenges.
• Knowledge of power-efficient design practices.
• Robust testing methodologies for cable performance, including eye diagram analysis and bit error rate testing.

Education/Certification preferred: Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
