We are currently looking for an experienced Certified Medical Assistant Instructor (CMAI) to join our team. We seek a candidate who possesses a deep passion for teaching and boasts robust expertise in the medical domain, encompassing medical assistant, phlebotomy, and electrocardiograph. The role entails following lesson plans, conducting lectures, and facilitating practical training for students. Exceptional communication and organizational abilities are prerequisites, with fluency in Spanish being an added advantage. This is a part-time position with a competitive salary. • Prepare or follow the course syllabus, curriculum, and plans for a semester-long class.
• Grade and monitor student performances prior to certification examinations
• Follow approved policies and procedures in the conduct of all instruction activities.
• Demonstrate sensitivity to student needs and circumstances.
• Deliver curriculum for the Certified Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy/EKG credentialing program, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
• Teach theoretical and practical aspects of certified medical assistant, phlebotomy, and EKG procedures to students, emphasizing safety, accuracy, and professionalism.
• Provide guidance and support to students, including individualized instruction and remediation when necessary.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and teamwork.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and act as a role model for students, promoting ethical and responsible behavior in the workplace.
