Summer Camp Counselor, FIU After-School All-Stars College Impact
FIU-After-School All-Stars is currently seeking passionate and talented Camp Counselors to serve high school students in its COLLEGE IMPACT SUMMER PROGRAM (June 10-July 31, 2024)

MISSION: Founded in 1992, After-School All-Stars (ASAS), provides free, daily after school and summer programs to over 90,000 youth in over 450 school sites in 19 chapters across the U.S. FIU After-School All-Stars, within the College of Arts, Sciences & Education, seeks to remedy the educational inequalities that exist for under-represented, first generation, low-income and minority students in South Florida. The College Impact Program serves the FIU-ASAS mission by providing academic and personal enrichment, social-emotional learning, college prep and career exploration.
Job Summary
College Impact Camp Counselors are responsible for the direct supervision and support of camp participants in all activities, including academic & personal enrichment, meals, on/offloading of buses, field trips and teambuilding. Work hours are Monday-Friday 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Other responsibilities/expectations include:
