Job Description
We are seeking a qualified teacher to work in our Toddler classroom starting September 1, 2024: Monday- Thursday from 9:15 AM-1:45 PM and Fridays from 9:15 AM-2:00 PM
Pay scale beginning at $22 to $25 per hour depending on education and experience.We pay for professional development, NAEYC and child portfolio development, time writing newsletters, conferencing with families and staff meetings in advance as a salary.

Duties
- Establish a supportive, positive learning environment
- Daily communication with families
- Maintain appropriate and professional standards of behavior
- Effectively plan with teaching partner
- Assessments on each child in your program
- Write weekly newsletter
- Participate in parent/teacher conferences twice a year
- Fulfill 1% of their annual hours in Professional Development (PD)
- An Associates Degree in ECE required or BA in ECE ideal.
- Candidates must work well in a collegial team setting, understand developmentally appropriate practice
- Respect and enjoy children
- Plan challenging and creative learning experiences, yet be flexible according to the emergent interests of the class
- $600 per year continuing education financial assistance available for candidates seeking an AA, BA, Child Development Associate(CDA) or other related ECE credential
- 403B plan available
- Possible extended hours for subbing and summer camp paid at an hourly rate
