Five Star Physician Services is currently recruiting a Board-Certified Physician with active Maryland medical and DEA licenses for a part time, contracted, Medical Director in a skilled nursing facility.

Our professionals provide quality patient care and strive to create effective partnerships and alliances with the medical community.
As a Five Star Physician Medical Director, you will provide medical staff oversight services at our post acute, rehabilitative and palliative-care institutions.
In your role as the Medical Director, responsibilities include:

• Manage new admissions
• Attend Quality meetings
• Oversee and support in-servicing of staff
• Ensure exceptional patient care in a post-acute care setting
• Attend quality assurance and policy review meetings on a regular basis
• Help foster positive collaboration among care teams through open communication

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from accredited medical school
• CMD Certificate preferred
• Board Certified in Internal or Family Medicine
• Active Maryland Medical license and DEA license in good standing
• Proficiency with EMR
