General Manager
Get excited, your dream job awaits! Five Star has an opening for a General Manager in our Advanced
Composites Department. As the General Manager, you will oversee all operations of our Advanced
Composites Department, ensuring that we meet production targets, quality standards, and safety
regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement manufacturing strategies to optimize production and minimize costs.
- Manage production schedules and ensure production targets are met on time and within
- Monitor product quality and implement quality control measures to ensure that all products
- Utilize Kaizen principles to realize immediate benefits and set foundation for continuous
- Improve operational systems, processes and policies in support of the organizations’ vision.
- Plan and facilitate department and executive team meetings.
- Support and drive the implementation of TPM.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years as Operations Manager / General Manager in a manufacturing
- Advanced Composites knowledge/experience.
- Strong ability to take initiatives, problem-solve and work in a fast-paced team setting.
- Knowledge of manufacturing process, including Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
