Fives Intralogistics is Hiring a Human Resources Manager Near Wixom, MI

Fives DyAG Corp is seeking a Human Resources Manager for our Wixom, MI office.SummaryLead all human resources activities including, but not limited to talent acquisition, performance management, payroll, benefits, training, talent reviews, employee relations, policy development and deployment. This role will have HR oversight for 4 offices in the US.
Job Responsibilities
  • Operate as a strategic business partner to the President and his/her staff
  • Develop the 5 year HR strategy aligned with and in support of the organization’s 5 years strategy
  • Demonstrate alignment to our company culture and be a role model for integrity always
  • Drive effective talent management discussions and succession planning annually
  • Create and implement human resources policies to meet organizational needs in compliance with state and federal laws
  • Develop and manage annual human resources budget
  • Develop and distribute internal communications materials to ensure all locations and employees have access to relevant information in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with TA and participate in candidate screening and selection processes
  • Manage new employee hiring and onboarding activity
  • Prepare employment contracts, termination notices and written reprimands
  • Conduct exit interviews to determine, analyze and report out on resignation reasons
  • Maintain human resources information systems to ensure accurate record keeping and reporting
  • Analyze trends at each location related to attrition, time-to-hire, promotion rates and engagement to identify and address unfavorable trends
  • Advise management of appropriate resolution of employee relations issues
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and company programs
  • Investigate complaints and counsel leadership with regard to disciplinary issues and recommended action
  • Build trustful and collaborative relationships across the organization and at every level
  • Manage the annual benefits enrollment process in coordination with the Corporate Benefits team
  • Liaise with external counsel to lead all immigration related matters
  • Maintain personnel and legal files
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree from four-year College or University
  • 5 – 10 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Excellent computer skills (i.e., MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Windows)
  • Analytical expertise
  • Experience in engineering or service sector preferred, but not required
  • Experience in VISA processing (TN/ H1b) preferred, but not required
  • Fluency in Spanish preferred
