Job Responsibilities
- Operate as a strategic business partner to the President and his/her staff
- Develop the 5 year HR strategy aligned with and in support of the organization’s 5 years strategy
- Demonstrate alignment to our company culture and be a role model for integrity always
- Drive effective talent management discussions and succession planning annually
- Create and implement human resources policies to meet organizational needs in compliance with state and federal laws
- Develop and manage annual human resources budget
- Develop and distribute internal communications materials to ensure all locations and employees have access to relevant information in a timely manner
- Collaborate with TA and participate in candidate screening and selection processes
- Manage new employee hiring and onboarding activity
- Prepare employment contracts, termination notices and written reprimands
- Conduct exit interviews to determine, analyze and report out on resignation reasons
- Maintain human resources information systems to ensure accurate record keeping and reporting
- Analyze trends at each location related to attrition, time-to-hire, promotion rates and engagement to identify and address unfavorable trends
- Advise management of appropriate resolution of employee relations issues
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and company programs
- Investigate complaints and counsel leadership with regard to disciplinary issues and recommended action
- Build trustful and collaborative relationships across the organization and at every level
- Manage the annual benefits enrollment process in coordination with the Corporate Benefits team
- Liaise with external counsel to lead all immigration related matters
- Maintain personnel and legal files
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s Degree from four-year College or University
- 5 – 10 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent computer skills (i.e., MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Windows)
- Analytical expertise
- Experience in engineering or service sector preferred, but not required
- Experience in VISA processing (TN/ H1b) preferred, but not required
- Fluency in Spanish preferred
