Car Wash Service Technician

FKG Oil Company seeks a Car Wash Service Technician to support our 85 Moto and MotoMart convenience store locations across the Midwest based out of the company headquarters in Belleville, Illinois.

The Car Wash Service Technician is expected to work independently with minimal supervision under pressure while providing timely resolutions to all Car Wash locations. This individual will report to the Car Wash Category Manager.

Functions

• Responsible for equipment and maintenance repair
• Thoroughly documents and tracks all preventative maintenance scheduling and active work orders
• Troubleshoots all chemical, mechanical, electrical, electronic, and power supplies
• Maintains and utilizes company owned equipment
• Operate company vehicle in safe manner complying with all legal requirements
• Remain informed and aware of related innovations to enhance current processes and Car Wash operation

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience related to job functions
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and pass a pre-employment MVR and background check
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to do the following:
• Sit and/or stand for prolonged time periods
• Lift and/or move objects up to 50 lbs
• Lift, stoop, kneel, climb, bend, stoop, and use hands to grip regularly
• Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to work in independent and group environments

Working Conditions

This is a full-time hourly position requiring occasional overtime including weekends and nights on an as need basis. Standard work hours are M-F 8:00 am – 4:00 pm CST.

Consists of daily travel in company vehicle to Car Wash locations with rare, overnight stay.
