Duties And Responsibilities
- Report any new defective product on hold and bring the report to the QC Lab daily.
- Rework any defective product that is approved by the supervisor for re-work.
- Responsible for putting pallet tags on all finished products that were re-worked and taken out of the hold area.
- Employees must organize their workload with the lab to prioritize the task of the day.
- Responsible for replacing damaged cases with new ones.
- Responsible for replacing labels when needed.
- Responsible for organizing and keeping the work area clean daily.
- Occasionally, when there is a customer complaint about a product, a Hold Area employee is asked to inspect the product in the manufacturing warehouse.
- When workload is low in the Hold Area, they assist in the lab with filing reports or samples or any other urgent tasks that are needed throughout the day.
- Occasionally all individuals working in the QC Department, will need to push, lift, bend, pull up to 50lbs individually.
