Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with data science, engineering, and biology teams to design and implement scalable data infrastructure solutions.
- Developing and maintaining data pipelines leveraging AWS services.
- Ensuring data quality, security, and compliance aligns with best practices.
- Streamlining data storage and retrieval processes.
- Creating user workflows to promote FAIR data best practices.
- Actively participating in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and cross-functional projects.
- Troubleshooting and resolving data infrastructure issues.
- Proficiency with AWS Data services and Infrastructure
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Understanding of data lake and warehousing concepts and analytics services.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and deliver results is a must.
- Experience working with bio and cheminformatics data.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in data engineering and infrastructure.
- Available to travel if/when needed.
