We are seeking a skilled and versatile Landscape and Facilities Technician to join our team and help us maintain our facilities and surrounding grounds.

Job Summary:

The Landscape and Facilities Technician will be responsible for the upkeep of the car wash's landscaping and performing various maintenance and repair tasks. This role requires a proactive individual with a keen eye for detail, a passion for outdoor work, and strong handyman skills to ensure our facilities remain in excellent condition.

Landscaping Duties:

• Maintain and enhance the landscaping around the car wash, including mowing lawns, trimming hedges, pruning trees and shrubs, and planting flowers.
• Weed, mulch, and fertilize gardens and flower beds.
• Ensure the cleanliness and aesthetics of the exterior areas, including parking lots and customer waiting areas.
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools.

Handyman Duties:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as fixing leaks, painting, carpentry, and basic electrical and plumbing repairs.
• Inspect and maintain the functionality of car wash equipment, ensuring everything operates smoothly.
• Address minor repairs and maintenance needs promptly to avoid disruptions.
• Keep the facility clean and tidy, including pressure washing surfaces, cleaning windows, and removing debris.

General Duties:

• Monitor and manage supplies needed for landscaping and maintenance tasks.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and procedures.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly.
• Communicate effectively with management about ongoing tasks, issues, and improvements.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in landscaping and general handyman tasks.
• Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry skills.
• Ability to operate and maintain landscaping equipment.
• Knowledge of sprinkler systems and paving techniques.
• Proficiency with power washing equipment.
• Basic painting and grouting skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good physical condition and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of work.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a similar role at a commercial property or car wash.
• Certification or training in landscaping or horticulture.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems.
