Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic components, motors, electrical systems and other components on injection molding presses and systems. Execute repairs to various related equipment; understand oil systems and cooling methods in presses; be able to execute and recommend various methodology changes where appropriate. Understand impact of machine downtime to organization; provide assistance to others when needed.

Job Description (Duties and Responsibilities):

• Mechanically troubleshoot, repair and maintain industrial machinery, equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot, inspect, adjust and repair automated machine, process systems and robotic systems to ensure they are working properly and safely.
• Performs equipment failure analysis (including preventative and unscheduled maintenance).
• Keep neat orderly records and order spare parts through the manager as needed.
• Communicate issues and problems to Supervision.

Basic Position Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years in Injection Molding/Plastics industry
• High school education or equivalent.
• Must have knowledge of injection molding equipment, or mechanical troubleshooting and repair theory.
• Ability to read, write, and understand written specifications, procedures and prints.
• Ability to execute from verbal instructions.
• Must possess good organizational and communication skills.
• Must possess good mechanical aptitude and have the ability to work on close tolerance equipment and/or parts.
• Capable of lifting up to 75 pounds on an occasional basis.
• Tolerance to 100° temperatures.

• Must have training for Milacron and Ranger Automation (will be given)
• OSHA training
• Plant fire safety systems, sprinklers/pumps house
