RELATIONSHIP MANAGER
Job Description
Position Title: Relationship Manager
Reports to: Deputy Director
Job Classification: Full-time, Exempt
Work Hours: Monday-Friday 8-5 (some special events are required and scheduling flexibility to accommodate is possible)
Wages: $50,000 annual salary
Benefits: Medical, dental, vision insurance, 401K, and supplemental programs available.
Onsite, nationally accredited Child Development Center is available for
parents to enroll children in full-time care from 6 months through kindergarten.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide initial client assessment to identify client needs and strengths, assist client with
presenting problems, barriers to goal attainment, identify agency and community resources to
assist client. Assist client in goal setting, and establishing a plan for goal attainment.
2. Conduct analysis on client demographics to identify program eligibility.
3. Provide intermediate client assessment and continual follow up to accurately identify client
progress.
4. Coordinate the provision of services to clients providing direction to volunteers and staff, as
necessary, to ensure appropriateness of services and thoroughness of documentation.
5. Recruit participants, interview participants and orient new enrollees to the policies and
objectives of the various services that are offered.
6. Document all client interactions and service linkages within prescribed time frames.
7. Provide follow-up service to determine both the quality and quantity of the service provided
and the status of client’s case.
8. Compile, record, and prepare reports within prescribed time frames.
9. Maintain case files to various contract specifications.
10. Plan, develop, and implement programming activities that are appropriate and of interest to
participants
11. Develop and coordinate community resources; other service providers and support
organization that focus on needs.
12. Attend community events, and neighborhood meetings as needed.
13. Conduct outreach activities to involve more participants in programming which could include
offering off-site services, home visits, and preparation of a monthly newsletter and monthly
calendar of events.
14. Comply with all policies, procedures and documentation standards of Flanner House.
15. Maintain positive and effective professional relationships with both internal staff and external
persons.
16. Attend regularly scheduled administrative meetings and agency-wide staff meetings.
17. Other duties as assigned.
18. Oversee the collection and compilation of reporting data for all clients. Assist in submission of
funding reports and data management, as required by funding sources and partner
organizations.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (minimum of 5-years of direct service experience
in a Human Services environment).
2. Excellent written and oral communication skills
3. Detail oriented, excellent organizational skills
4. Ability to work well in a team environment
5. Experience working with a diverse client and staff population.
6. Ability to handle crisis situations and high volume of client flow.
7. Ability to maintain confidentiality of client information.
8. Understanding of social work principles, techniques, and their application to social problems.
9. Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office Suite and data management standards.
10. Ability to work with minimal supervision and to use good judgment in decision-making.
11. Potential not required, Bilingual(English/Spanish)
