Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of numerous properties within your respective city of work. Your primary responsibility will be to complete daily work orders promptly and efficiently, meeting the 48-hour deadline for submission.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role, demonstrating proficiency in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities, ensuring work orders are completed within the specified timeframe.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively communicate with colleagues, supervisors, and community managers.
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual tasks and lift heavy objects as necessary.
• Reliable vehicle to get to and from each property.
• Must pass background examinations
• Preferred 1 years experience in property management
• Preferred 1 years experience in Maintenance

Responsibilities:

• Perform repairs and maintenance tasks as outlined in work orders for various properties.
• Utilize your knowledge and skills in basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry to effectively address maintenance issues.
• Collaborate with a team of fellow Maintenance Technicians to efficiently complete work orders and provide support when needed.
• Report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor of your area, keeping them informed about the status of work orders and seeking guidance as required.
• Coordinate closely with the community managers to prioritize and understand the urgency of work orders.
• Facilitate effective communication among community managers, assistant managers, leasing staff, maintenance teams, and apartment unit turnover processes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
