Essential functions:

As an Assistant Controller, the primary role is to support our CFO and SVP, Finance in overseeing the financial activities of our company by maintaining accurate financial records, providing insightful analysis, and ensuring compliance with regulations to support the company’s financial health and decision-making processes.

· Creating financial statements for clients as well as upper management

· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports

· Assist CFO and SVP, Finance with annual budgeting

· Ensure all accounting practices are in compliance with legal guidelines and established accounting principles

· Assist with billing and tax documentation preparation

· Work with the Accounting Department to create and institute internal controls and policies

· Collaborate with our SVP, IT to maintain financial records and system processes

· Identify solutions to discrepancies in financial records

· Prepare audit and tax workpapers

· Maintain fixed assets and leases

· Prepare balance sheet audits

· Conduct regular account analysis to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data

· Monitor cas flow and manage working capital to optimaize financial performance

· Manage accounts receivable functions, to ensure timely and accurate payment processing

Job Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field

· 3-5 years in similar role

· Experience in Microsoft accounting systems (Dynamics NAV a plus)

· Microsoft CRM and Office suite skill level (advanced Excel knowledge)

· Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills

· Must have exceptional time management skills and detail oriented

· Able to work under pressure
