OverviewThe Franchise Marketing Manager collaborates with new franchisees to convey national marketing strategies and offer tools and resources to boost ticket sales and engage customers. This role involves working with franchise stores to create expos, corporate sales initiatives, and community event strategies, emphasizing customer acquisition and enhancing the customer experience.
The Franchise Marketing Manager leads all aspects of the QuickStart Program. This program provides new franchisees with business coaching throughout their first year, emphasizing ticket sales and adherence to Fleet Feet Brand Standards. The role includes conducting weekly meetings, business reviews, and market visits, all aimed at fostering franchise growth and achieving first-year sales targets.
The Franchise Marketing Manager works closely with the Sales Operations team and store-level marketing coordinators/managers to communicate and support both brand-wide and local marketing initiatives. This role involves collaborating with franchise stores to implement creative grassroots marketing strategies, addressing each market's specific needs while staying aligned with brand priorities. Travel is required to meet with store marketing managers and franchisees, and to support major brand events.

Responsibilities
  • Enhance and support local expos, corporate sales, and event activation strategies to boost revenue and community engagement.
  • Develop, implement, and test in-market activations with select stores focused on driving new customers
  • Based on successful activations, create resources and a playbook for franchisees to implement the activations in their local market.
  • Collaborate with store marketing contacts to ensure they have access to and understand essential guides, resources, assets, and all SST (HQ) marketing updates.
  • Communicate and support brand-wide marketing initiatives by working closely with Sales Operations, marketing teams, and store-level marketing contacts.
  • Share successful expo and event strategies from stores and build upon these successes for brand-wide implementation.
  • Work closely with the Sales Operations team and Franchise Coaches to understand current market conditions, sales goals, and opportunities for franchise stores.
  • Provide ideas and help develop innovative marketing strategies across all franchise stores.
Qualifications
  • Preferred: 3 years of retail marketing experience
  • Excellent communicator with strong listening and adaptability skills
  • Demonstrates good judgment, building and maintaining trust with the team, staff, and customers

Additional Requirements: Position requires occasional moving around with light (1-10lbs.) carrying, lifting, pushing or pulling. The position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access files, office equipment, etc. The position is mostly sedentary and requires the employee to have close visual acuity to perform job requirements. The position requires frequent communication with team members and repetitive motion with the hands, wrists and/or fingers while constantly utilizing a computer. This position is located within an office environment and is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.Fleet Feet utilizes E-Verify in all corporate and company-operated stores as part of the hiring process.
