FLEETCOR is Hiring a Billing Specialist Near Louisville, KY

This Accounting position is responsible for ensuring that customer billing for all transaction processing related services is complete and accurate. This position will provide direction to other departments (Sales, Client Services, Implementations, etc.), on billing requirements and will help translate contracts into detailed specifications for setup in the appropriate billing systems.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure that customer billing for all transaction processing related services is complete, timely and accurate.
Consult with other departments, specifically Client Services and Implementations, on how to interpret the contents of customer contracts and how to properly prepare the required internal documentation (BMN) to trigger billing.
This position will serve as a single point of contact for all billing issues that arise out of new contracts or amendments. Using sound judgment and extensive knowledge of all billing systems, will manage issues through resolution.
Consult with company management to ensure that all required documents are in place prior to goods and services being provided, escalating to senior management as necessary.
Oversee new customer setup and ensure the correct billing parameters are established in the appropriate billing systems.
Perform routine audits of customer contracts, ensuring that the appropriate billing systems are setup properly and the customer is being billed completely and accurately.
Coordinate audit requests for all processing and contract queries.
Prioritize, plan and schedule day-to-day routines and assigned projects to facilitate the overall needs of the Accounting group. Manage the coordination and distribution of information, project activities, reports, or other requirements with the finance group. Complete timely, verbal and written communication to the appropriate internal and external customers and associates.
Qualifications
Associates Degree in Accounting is preferred; minimum of 7 years' experience in a similar accounting position or equivalent combination of education and experience.
High level experience with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, manipulation of data, general ledgers.
Exceptional level of personal organization with excellent oral/written communication skills. Must be detail oriented, with the ability to handle multiple assignments promptly and effectively, and possess strong follow thru abilities.
Demonstrated ability to work calmly in a fast-paced team environment while effectively managing multiple tasks. Superior telephone etiquette and customer service skills are required, with the ability to react quickly and decisively to resolve customer issues.
