We are looking for an individual with janitorial experience to join our growing team in our Distribution Center in North Haven.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to use hand cleaning tools such as mops, brooms, and brushes
• Ability to use power cleaning tools such as vacuums and floor scrubbers
• Ability to follow and read instructions and use cleaning chemicals and agents properly
• Ability to learn cleaning procedures for industrial equipment
• Basic understanding and use of the English language is required for the safe and effective performance of the job
• Occasionally lifting 25lbs
• Responsibilities :
• Ensures equipment is free of grease, oil, residue, and other materials
• Cleans floors around machinery and elsewhere in the facility as assigned
• Performs other basic janitorial services to ensure the facility is clean and safe; tasks may include picking up trash, emptying receptacles, and stocking in the facility as required
• Painting, sweeping, mopping
• Maintains inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
• Exhibit a professional manner in dealing with others, and work to maintain constructive professional relationships
• Performs other related duties as assigned
• Non-climate controlled inside warehouse
• Sitting, standing, walking for extended periods

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Janitorial experienced highly preferred. Handling of normal stock will include lifting or carrying parts in excess of 60 lbs.

up to 15% of the time. Majority of lifting and carrying will involve parts between 5 and 60 lbs.

OSHA approved steel-toed safety shoes required from the first day on the job.
