We are a 12,000sqft Trade-Only furniture showroom in Stamford, CT that specializes in high end home furnishings. We seek a self-motivated individual who is a team player and excellent communicator.

We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver/ Warehouse Lead to join our team. This person will be responsible for the inventory and transport of goods to designated locations in a safe, timely and professional manner.

Responsibilities:

- Safely and efficiently transport goods to customers and other locations

- Load and unload cargo ensuring all items are securely strapped down

- Follow delivery schedules and routes. Communicate with dispatch and customers with delivery status.

- Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks such as checking oil, tires and brakes.

- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving (driving record will be necessary)

- Maintain accurate delivery records

- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries

- Inventory of incoming products (photograph, price, etc. )

- Perform janitorial services for facility

Experience:

- Experience as a delivery driver or similar role

- Experience with route driving and navigation

- Proficient in shipping and receiving procedures

- Ability to lift heavy product (sofas, coffee tables, cabinets)

- Knowledge of OSHA regulations for safe driving practices

- Familiarity with order picking processes

- Proficiency in inventory control methods

- Experience with warehouse management systems

- Capable of loading and unloading goods effectively

- Able to use forklifts for loading and unloading

- Ability to fabricate solutions for unexpected delivery challenges

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients

- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
