FLEX Academies is Hiring a Program Instructor Near Washington, DC

After Care Program Instructor
Flex has openings for part-time Program Instructors this 24/25 school year in our aftercare programs at Inspired Teaching Public Charter School. The position is Monday through Friday during the school year-hours are 2:45 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. daily but may vary. Instructors MUST have a passion for “making a difference”.

The Program Instructor will:
 
  • Work well with a variety of groups including fellow staff, school personnel, families, and children.
  • Maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment for our students
  • Lead instruction in the program using Flex-approved curriculum and other resources
  • Demonstrate effective classroom management techniques
  • Communicate effectively with families regarding behavior and daily activities
Program Instructor Qualifications:
 
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Have a passion for education
  • Comfortable with technology (phone, laptop, etc)
  • Perform other duties as directed
  • Minimum Education: Associate’s Degree
  • Must be able to meet and stay current on state-specific licensing requirements
