Our client is located in the Fox Valley area and is a leader in the packaging industry. They are looking for an HR Generalist assist the team. There is an opportunity this could turn into long-term for the right person.

Responsibilities:

• Handle employment-related inquiries from employees
• Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring for open positions
• Administer internal and external job postings
• Conduct background checks and employee eligibility verifications
• Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs
• Maintain accurate record keeping such as personnel files, attendance records, etc.
• Assist with benefit administration, leaves, disciplinary matters, training and development, recognitions, etc.
• Provide administrative support as needed

General Information:

Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week, 8am-4:30pm or 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday

Length: Temporary at least 1 month, potentially longer or even the opportunity become permanent

Pay: $20/hour-$30/hour, based on experience

• 2 years of Human Resources experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Organization Development, Business Administration or other related field is highly preferred
• Computer savvy
• Excellent people skills with the ability to adapt well to others
• Highly organized, take direction well and accurately execute tasks
