Lingo Staffing is now hiring a Marketing Assistant in Roanoke, VA.
Hours : 8am 5pm Monday Friday
Pay : $16 - $18 / hour
The marketing assistant is responsible for performing administrative assistance to the marketing team including functions that support marketing efforts, projects, and other departmental commitments. Job Duties :
- Maintain marketing databases and assist with data entry tasks as needed. Support the planning and execution of marketing events such as tradeshow coordination, travel and shipping logistics.
- Assist with bank deposits, mail distribution, scheduling meetings, and managing calendars
- Maintaining deadlines and payment schedules with support from the Marketing Manager
Job Requirements :
- Previous experience in an administrative or marketing support role preferred
- Okay with working a 4-6 month temporary assignment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
