Job Description:

The Manager of Information Security Program Operations plays a critical role within Flexential, closely collaborating with the VP of Cyber and Information Security and other key stakeholders. This position focuses on building and maturing the information security program, assessing cyber risks for the business, and establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics. Additionally, this leader oversees security awareness training initiatives and contributes to shifting security practices left within the organization.

• Partner with other information security leaders to develop and implement the information security program strategy and roadmap. This leader will own and mature the information security program to ensure that Flexential’s products and systems are designed and implemented securely.
• Drive key information security initiatives, streamline daily operations, and ensure program goals are achieved.
• Collaborate with the leadership team to create and maintain metrics and KPIs for program health across all security functions.
• Identify and implement process improvements to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of the information security organization.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with other departments to ensure alignment with Information Security initiatives.
• Stay informed about evolving cyber and information security trends and regulations, advising security leadership on potential impacts and adjustments.
• Develop and maintain information security procedures and standards for executive management approval.
• Develop and manage internal and external communication plans related to information security initiatives and updates.
• Create presentations around program status and roadmap for use within the team and executive stakeholders.
• Foster a collaborative and cohesive culture within the information security team, promoting effective communication, teamwork, and knowledge sharing.
• Perform other duties as required and assigned.

• 5 years of experience in information security or compliance, preferably with service provider experience.
• Working knowledge of industry standards such as NIST, ISO, and PCI standards.
• Self-starter with a history of excellent communication and time management skills.
• Ability to quickly assess problems and execute a plan of action at a business leadership level.
• Strong leadership and communication skills (oral and written) enabling relationship building across all levels of the organization. 
• Knowledge of ITIL and agile process and how they relate to architecture and project delivery.
• Must be able to work autonomously and lead team members in delivering solutions.

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or relevant security industry certification.

• Requires substantial computer and keyboard usage
• Require extended periods of sitting or standing
• Requires limited usage of phone

Base Pay Range: Annualized salary range offered for this position is estimated to be $112,600 - $140,000. However, the actual pay range depends on each candidate’s experience, location, and qualifications. 

Variable Pay: Discretionary annual bonus, based on personal and company performance.
