As the Cyber Security Administrator, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our computer networks against security threats. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring network activity for potential security issues, installing and maintaining security software, and documenting any security incidents or breaches. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities, prioritizing them based on risk level, and implementing appropriate remediation measures. You may also contribute to the development and implementation of cyber security policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Constant monitoring of the network environment to identify emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
• Prioritization of vulnerabilities based on their threat severity and ease of exploitation.
• Remediation of vulnerabilities on various systems including laptops, desktops, and servers.
• Monitoring alerts generated by Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions.
• Assisting in the deployment of phishing simulations and training programs.
• Conducting audits and implementing EDR solutions as necessary.
• Tracking the progress of vulnerability remediation efforts.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in intrusion prevention techniques.
• Experience in incident response procedures.
• Familiarity with ethical hacking principles.
• Knowledge of computer forensics methodologies.
• Experience with Vulnerability Scanners such as openVAS, Nessus, and Tenable.IO.
• Ability to conduct vulnerability assessments and implement remediation measures.
• Understanding of email security best practices.
• Experience in conducting phishing training and testing.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
• Understanding of TCP/IP protocols and remote access security techniques.
• Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Proficiency in Windows, Linux, and MacOS operating systems.
