Seeking certified pharmacy technicians for long-term care pharmacy staffing assignments that work around your schedule. Immediate Coverage begins as soon as possible and is needed through 10/19/2024. Assignments may be of variable length (from PRN single to multiple days, sometimes contract, occasionally you may receive permanent offers)

Schedule Details:

- 3 shifts - 9am-5:30pm - 2:30pm-11pm - 10:30am - 8:00pm

Requirements:
- If the state requires a license, Pharmacy Technician will show a current license in the state of practice, with no restrictions:

High school diploma or equivalent
 Pharmacy tech and current State Board certification
 6 months – 1 year of related experience
 Attention to detail and be able to work under deadlines
 Ability to use metric system and avoirdupois measures
 Excellent oral and written communication skills
 Excellent data entry and customer service skills

- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Fill drug kits under direct supervision applying accuracy and aseptic technique.
 Match preprinted label and delivery manifests with a source document
 Locate medication from pharmacy supply area, count out, and package in correct system, including
blister packs, vials, etc.
 Pre-package medications according to standard procedures
 Assist in order entry and other phases of computer operations including billing procedures
 Clean all equipment and work areas
 Check equipment for calibration and safety
 Rotate stock as required
 File documentation as required by PharMerica and pharmacy regulations
 Respond to customer inquiries as necessary
 Assist with Automated prescription filling system
 Data entry: new/refill meds/etc

- ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:
 Light to moderate physical effort (lift/carry up to 25 lbs.) -Heavier weights with assistance
 Sitting & standing for long periods of time
 Repetitive motions and/or prolonged computer use
 Working at a fast pace, subject to many interruptions and both physical and mental stress
 All jobs currently require clear and concise verbal and written communication skills in English.
