Baton Rouge, LA: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Corporate Recruiter who will be responsible for completing the entire life cycle of the recruitment process and utilizing a variety of recruiting strategies. This role requires expert sourcing, screening, interviewing and the creation of a qualified candidate pool for current and future openings. The Corp Recruiter will collaborate with the hiring managers to understand the hiring needs of the organization and provide qualified candidates in a timely manner.

Essential Duties:

  • Develop and execute effective recruiting strategies including relationship building and heavy networking within the construction industry.
  • Partner with staffing and recruiting agencies to
  • Source both active and passive candidates through a variety of methods including internet job boards, networking, social media, industry events and job fairs, local schools, and other creative strategies.
  • Screen resumes, interview candidates (by phone or in person) and recommend top candidates to hiring managers for consideration. Follow up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback and ensure the process is moving forward.
  • Coordinate with hiring manager to create and present offers of employment.
  • Ensure all job descriptions and job posting templates are consistent and compliant with OFCCP regulations.
  • Create and maintain an applicant tracking system and ensure all applicant data is updated timely for accurate reporting and metrics. Report quarterly on recruiting metrics and analyze recruiting data to identify trends, gaps, and success rates on sourcing strategies.
  • Serve as recruiting subject matter expert to team members and hiring managers on sourcing strategies, interviewing techniques and other related topics.
  • · Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with hiring managers and HR team members required.
  • · Excellent communication skills required as well as the ability to interface with all levels of the organization.

Requirements/Skills:

  • 5 years of experience in a recruiting role
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Bachelor’s or associate Degree is preferred
  • Previous experience in a client facing role for a staffing/recruitment agency.
