Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a QA/QC Inspector Level 2 to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality of materials used in our products, the workmanship, and compliance with both our specifications and customer requirements. The QA/QC Inspector Level 2 will play a key role in implementing and maintaining our Quality Management System to achieve planned results, ensuring the quality of finished goods, and supporting continuous improvement efforts in line with ISO 9001 standards.

Essential Duties:

• Implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System to achieve desired outcomes.

• Inspection of incoming raw materials and conducting dimensional inspections as per purchase orders or drawings.

• Preparation of identification stencils and markings, taking test samples to laboratories, and conducting shop inspections of production and packaging processes.

• Monitoring, recording, and documenting QC inspection reports and final inspections.

• Providing technical support and answering technical questions, including contacting suppliers when necessary.

• Assisting in the calibration program and ensuring compliance with ISO procedures for quality-related paperwork.

• Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet required specifications and providing support for shipping operations.

• Interface with Management, Operations, and Purchasing departments regarding discrepant materials.

• Participation in the organization's continual improvement program and understanding the implications of not complying with the quality management system.

• Flexibility to move to other areas as needed and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements/Skills:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. A Bachelor’s degree is a plus, with experience potentially substituting for education.

• 1-3 years of experience in quality assurance/quality control, preferably in an ISO 9001:2015 environment.

• Knowledge of quality systems, processes, procedures, specifications, and tolerances.

• Proficiency in using measuring equipment, mathematical skills, analytical thinking, and detail orientation.

• Excellent communication skills, ability to work under pressure, multitask, and work with minimal supervision.

• Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel up to 10%.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit, bend, stand, and walk for 8-12 hours per day.

• Regular lifting/moving up to 15 lbs, frequently up to 25 lbs, and occasionally up to 50 lbs.

• Requires close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and adjustment of focus.

• Compliance with safety/PPE requirements and ability to work in a production environment occasionally.

• Ability to pass drug tests and background checks.
