About the Role

The Company is seeking an experienced Senior Counsel, Litigation to join its legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of existing and potential legal disputes, from legal holds to motions practice, case management, and settlement. This role requires a focus on resolving matters efficiently and effectively. The Senior Counsel will also be involved in the management of smaller legal issues, such as collections disputes and investigations, and will be expected to communicate and collaborate on budget management with various stakeholders. Additionally, the role involves keeping company leaders informed of material litigation updates and industry trends, and building processes to address recurring legal work.Applicants must have a J.D. from an accredited law school, be admitted to the bar, and have at least 7 years of litigation experience, preferably with a background that includes both in-house and law firm experience. Strong advocacy skills, a solid work ethic, the ability to adapt to change, and a commitment to meeting deadlines are essential. The ideal candidate will be a clear and independent communicator and have experience in managing a range of legal areas, particularly in the context of technology companies. Experience with SaaS at a global tech company is also preferred. The role demands a trusted partner who can work with key stakeholders across the business and collaborate with other legal groups to support risk assessments and strategic projects.
