FlexStaff is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join our client's team, a leading provider of optical technology within the aerospace and defense industry.
This is a direct-hire, permanent position, onsite in Suffolk County, NY.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, test and debug embedded software.
- Design and implement C/C Embedded software for primarily ARM cortex Microcontrollers, using the Keil MDK development kit.
- Conduct system level testing, debugging, optimization.
- Experience taking ownership of complex projects, and partnering with higher management to determine the Embedded software specifications and requirements.
- Document and conduct thorough code reviews/walkthrough’s. Maintain code and version control.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer science, computer engineering or electronics engineering or equivalent.
- 6 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in C/C .
- FPGA/CPLD Programmable logic, VHDL/AHDL/Verilog
- Digital signal processing for noise reduction, filtering, correlation.
