Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Process Engineer, you will play a key role in optimizing our manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements, implement best practices, and deliver high-quality products to our customers. Key Responsibilities: Process Development and Optimization:
Lead the refinement and optimization of manufacturing processes across multiple product lines to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall quality.
Identify and implement opportunities for productivity enhancement through the adoption of automation, robotics, and advanced manufacturing technologies.
Collaborate closely with design engineering teams to ensure seamless transition from product design to mass production, focusing on design for manufacturability (DFM) principles.
Foster strong partnerships with external suppliers to streamline the documentation and analysis of manufacturing processes for electronic products, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulations.
Drive the implementation of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies, actively seeking out opportunities for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Employ advanced techniques such as Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Kaizen events, and Statistical Process Control (SPC) to drive meaningful process enhancements and cost savings.
Documentation and Auditing:
Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including detailed work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and control plans, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Conduct thorough process audits utilizing a combination of internal standards and industry best practices to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Proactively engage with cross-functional teams to address audit findings and implement corrective actions in a timely manner, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Project Management:
Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, utilizing robust project management methodologies and tools to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Apply the Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control (DMAIC) framework to project management, facilitating structured problem-solving and data-driven decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders from various departments, including Design, team, Operations, and Quality Assurance, to ensure seamless project execution and timely delivery of results.
Quality Management and Process Control:
Drive the implementation of comprehensive quality management systems, including the identification and documentation of critical to quality (CTQ) characteristics and the development of robust control plans.
Leverage advanced quality tools such as Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Design of Experiments (DOE) to proactively identify and mitigate risks to product quality.
Champion a culture of quality excellence throughout the organization, providing guidance and training to cross-functional teams on quality principles and best practices.
Data Analysis and Process Improvement:
Utilize advanced data analysis techniques to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement, leveraging tools such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), Pareto analysis, and regression analysis.
Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to develop predictive models and algorithms to optimize manufacturing processes and enhance product quality.
Actively monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track progress against goals and identify areas for further optimization and refinement.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Minimum 6 years of experience in a manufacturing process engineering role, preferably within the high-power electronics industry.
Experience working at supplier locations and collaborating with external teams.
Proven expertise in Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
Strong understanding of statistical process control (SPC) techniques.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to process improvement.
Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Experience working in a contract manufacturing environment preferred.
Working knowledge of high voltage safety regulations.
Flexibility to travel up to 20%
