You will hold a critical role in our company by being part of a dynamic sales team that is continuously impacting the growth of Flinn. You will work closely with other ‘go-getter’ team members to develop market strategies, competitive tactics and effective new acquisition strategies. You will have a direct influence and ability to make a difference within the science community as our organization continues to grow.

Big Picture View

As the Associate Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a sales territory focused on acquiring new customers and generating revenue across the entire product portfolio directly into US K-12 Private and Public institutions. Additionally, the Associate Account Manager will work with marketing colleagues to provide insight and focus on developing and qualifying leads.

The Associate Account Manager – Day-to-Day:

  • Maintain an organized and detail-oriented territory plan as a road map to achieve your annual sales objectives focusing on the development of the accounts in the territory and hunting for new acquisitions
  • Build brand and customer relationships via integrated communication (phone, video conferencing, email) techniques to drive customer engagement and revenue generation
  • Manage a realistic sales pipeline for your assigned territory through CRM to achieve quarterly and fiscal year revenue expectations
  • Obtain baseline knowledge of the entire Flinn value proposition and solutions and be able to provide guidance to your accounts through the sales process
  • Collaboratively work within the organization to identify opportunities in your territory to drive incremental revenue through up sell and cross sell opportunities of the Flinn product line

What You Need to be Successful

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred) or two-year Associates degree in Business, Communications or related field
  • Two or more years of sales or customer service experience, preferably within educational products either in print or technology

Salary: $45,000.00 per year plus commission
