Position Overview: We are currently seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Bartender to join our team at Flite. The ideal candidate will have a deep appreciation for alcoholic beverages, a keen interest in exploring diverse flavors, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. The Bartender will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining our alcohol menu, as well as collaborating with our culinary team to ensure seamless integration with our food offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve a wide variety of liquor and beer flights with precision and creativity, adhering to Flite's standards of quality and presentation.
• Menu Development: Work closely with management to curate and refine Flite's alcohol menu, sourcing unique and high-quality products from around the world to offer our guests an unparalleled tasting experience.
• Customer Engagement: Engage with guests in a friendly and approachable manner, sharing knowledge about different beverages, making recommendations, and creating personalized flight experiences based on individual preferences.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other members of the Flite team, including bartenders, servers, and kitchen staff, to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest satisfaction.
• Quality Control: Maintain cleanliness and organization behind the bar, adhere to health and safety regulations, and consistently uphold Flite's standards of excellence in beverage preparation and service.
• Training and Education: Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and emerging techniques in mixology, and actively seek opportunities for professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Promotion and Marketing: Contribute to promotional efforts and special events at Flite, such as tastings, themed nights, and cocktail competitions, to attract new customers and foster a sense of community among our patrons.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a bartender in a high-volume, upscale establishment preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of alcoholic beverages, including spirits, wines, and craft beers, with a passion for exploring new flavors and trends.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with guests in a friendly and informative manner.
• Creative flair and attention to detail in beverage preparation and presentation.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate the needs of the business.
• Certification in responsible alcohol and food service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe) is preferred.
