Drain Cleaning Technician (Non-CDL)
Ciro's Sewer Cleaning - Eastlake, OH
Job DescriptionCiro's has opportunities for hard-working, dependable individuals to join our team.
We welcome those with or without experience looking for a career path in the sewer and drain cleaning, investigation, and repair industry.
Although we are a 24-hour emergency service company, our standard operating hours are 8:00 am through 4:30 pm (or when the last scheduled jobs of the day are completed) Monday through Friday.
Each team member is required to cover his or her scheduled rotation of "On-Call" providing emergency service response while earning overtime pay. Additionally, you have plenty of opportunities for scheduled overtime projects!
This position offers a competitive starting wage ranging from $21.00 to $25.00 per hour
(depending on field experience or holding a Commercial Driver's License with Tanker
Endorsement)

Qualifications, Skills, And Requirements For This Position21 years of age (Required)
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (Required)
Ability to pass the DOT physical, drug screening, and background check (Required)
Maintain a clean driving record (Required)
Reliable transportation to the office (37100 Research Drive, Eastlake, Ohio 44095)
Ability to work overtime (scheduled or emergency response) as needed
Professional in appearance and demeanor
High School diploma or equivalent
Team player with a positive, professional attitude
Ability to lift 100 to 150 pounds throughout the day
Proficient mechanical ability and problem-solving skills
Strong work ethic with excellent customer service skills
Ability to work in a team atmosphere
Day In The Life At Ciro's Sewer CleaningOur Drain Cleaning Technician position will be responsible for the following duties
Pre and Post Trip Vehicle Inspections
Diagnose and work to resolve drain-related issues
Assist Excavation and Repair Crews in their duties
Use a variety of Power and Hand Tools to perform work at customer locations
Use of Video Inspection / Line Locating equipment
Use of company Tablet / Cell Phone for project data entry
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of trucks, tools, and equipment
Our Work Environment
Year-round interior and exterior projects in all weather conditions
Scheduled and emergency response service for residential, commercial, and municipal
projects
Both team and individual projects
Work with sanitary and storm sewers, grease trap waste and oil & water separator
waste
Standard projects remain within a two hour drive of our current office location

The primary function of a Drain Cleaner is to deliver excellent drain cleaning service to customers while representing the Company professionally and courteously. Drain cleaning service includes using video inspection devices to inspect the interior of drain lines and identify points of concern. In addition, hydro jet or mechanical drain cleaning equipment will need to perform preventative maintenance on drain lines or clear clogged drain lines.
During service execution, the Drain Cleaner will be responsible for complying with all DOT, state regulations, and Company safety and compliance policies. In addition, the Drain Cleaner is responsible for complying with all customer and company-related requirements.
