Job Overview

We are a family-owned flooring contractor business operating in Central Florida since 1981. We are hiring a Warehouse /Logistics Coordinator for our Lakeland, FL location. This person will need to have qualifications and be able to perform the responsibilities, but not limited to the following:

• Ensure stock is received and entered into RFMS and physically unboxed and properly stored in designated areas
• Familiar with cabinet and laminates
• Able to communicate with team members and management
• Wrap and palletize cabinet jobs to make room in the warehouse
• Check all orders for accuracy
• Review, print the installation schedule for the following week and post information to the Delivery Board
• Prep loads for the following week
• Create cut lines in the job and print tickets for 'staging.'
• Print item list
• Prepare hardware types and counts
• Order shop/warehouse materials (wood, glue, etc.)
• Outsource any laminate jobs to vendor (ordering, tracking, and receiving)
• Update cabinet master list as needed throughout production
• Efficiently use a computer system to perform the job properly (We use RFMS)

As needed: Be a runner for material pickups and deliveries; assist with coverage /floater for fabrication; and create and modify top sheet templates for new and current models.
