Warehouse Manager

Oversee warehouse staff and ensure the effective, secure, and careful movement of products into and out of the facility, maintaining a clean and professional space for both customers and personnel while demonstrating sensibility and dedication in protecting the company’s assets.
Duties

• Safety and OSHA Standards: Responsibilities: Safeguarding that the warehouse is secure and compliant with OSHA standards for the well-being of both employees and visitors. Criteria: Actively redirects staff, identifies and reports on shortfalls, and advocates for improvements. Keeps track of environmental changes like weather conditions and alters methods as needed.
• Inventory Control: Responsibilities: Overseeing adherence to inventory management procedures. Criteria: Manages logistics of incoming and outgoing material, regularly reviews processing methods for such shipments, checks incoming material against documentation and system records; also ensures outbound materials are accurately documented in RFMS.
• Maintenance of Warehouse and Equipment: Responsibilities: Managing the upkeep of the warehouse and its associated tools and equipment. Criteria: Inspects tools and equipment condition, addresses any immediate risks to safety regarding storage or transport equipment, and ensures security measures for company vehicles every day.
• Warehouse Supplies and Cleanliness: Responsibilities: Making sure necessary supplies are available and the premises are orderly, sanitary, safe and secure. Criteria: Ensures both warehouses are kept in order, confirms essential items like stretch wrap are stocked, secures the warehouse, manages waste disposal, and maintains a clean yard and sufficient fuel for forklifts and vehicles.
• Training Warehouse Staff: Responsibilities: Conducting training for warehouse employees regarding operational processes. Criteria: Provides instructions on all warehouse tasks, including loading orders effectively, use of RFMS for inventory management, proper and safe operation of forklifts and other routine duties.
• Delegation of Duties: Responsibilities: Assigns specific tasks to the warehouse personnel. Criteria: Appropriately distributes work based on employee capabilities, ensuring equitable assignment of tasks and monitoring completion for smooth warehouse operations. Maintains a consistent schedule of staff and ensures that both warehouses are covered by a warehouse employee at all times.
