Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for submitting all pertinent documentation to insurance companies and ensuring timely reimbursement. Tracking reimbursements, preparing all necessary items for Biller to send out claims in a timely manner.

Duties:
- Review and verify accuracy of billing data and revise any errors
- Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies
- Follow up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle timeframe
- Utilize medical coding to ensure compliance with federal regulations
- Process payments from insurance companies and patients
- Investigate and appeal denied claims
- Maintain patient billing records
- Work closely with the medical office staff to ensure proper billing procedures

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in medical billing or related field
- Proficiency in medical coding such as ICD-10, ICD-9, DRG, etc.
- Knowledge of medical collection processes
- Familiarity with medical records systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

-Must have knowledge of insurances, authorizations, and billing in the home health setting.

Nice-to-have Skills:
- Experience with electronic billing systems
- Understanding of insurance verification processes
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payers' billing requirements
