Program Manager

Position Summary:
Oversee Mental Health Services for assigned service planning area(s). Coordinate with other Mental Health Program Managers. Individual will interact with various external agencies including; Department of Children and Family Services, Department of Probation, Department of Mental Health, Community Partners and Managers of other Mental Health Service Providers.

Essential Duties:

• Acquires, maintains, teaches and demonstrates knowledge of Continuum of Care, Integrated Core Practice Model, and trauma-informed care.
• Oversees written and submitted evaluations, rate change submissions and presents evaluations to staff.
• Maintains a professional environment that is consistent with existing contracts, licensing regulations, and established agency policies.
• Oversee centralized charting system, which may include ongoing internal audits, in cooperation per agency’s guidelines and contract.
• Participate in various county meetings as it relates to the programs.
• Be available for administrative 24-hour on-call consultation and direction.
• Acts as liaison to the VP Integrated Behavioral Health for policy and procedure change.
• Review, monitor and approve program spending consistent with established budgets and business policies and procedures.
• Oversee office supply orders and inventory for departments; review and approve purchase order requests.
• Takes responsibility for performance of employees overseen, by setting clear goals and expectations, tracking progress against the goals, ensuring feedback, and addressing performance problems and issues promptly.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

MA/MS in Social Work, Human Services, or other relevant field required. Two years of experience working with adolescents/ young adults required or BA/BS with a minimum of four years of experience supervising staff and experience working with children and families in crisis.

Fluency in Spanish is preferred. Prior working with minority populations and delivering services in the community setting preferred.

Additional Requirements:

• Must possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted California driver’s license.
• Must be able to successfully complete and maintain required certifications and training including, but not limited to, evidence-informed practices.

Salary Range: $73,840 to $81,224
The posted pay scale for this position serves as a general disclosure. Actual pay offered within the range will be dependent on individual factors such as skills, qualifications, and relevant experience.
