Florence Township School DistrictFlorence Township School District is seeking a BCBA certified staff member to provide support and guidance with behavioral needs. Qualifications
  • Holds BCBA credentials.
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations governing special education; demonstrated ability to effectively assess children's learning characteristics, design appropriate instructional strategies, and plan educational programs.
  • Ability to conduct functional behavioral assessments and develop school-based individual behavior intervention plans.
  • Ability to provide modeling and training to teaching and paraprofessional staff.
  • Ability to provide consultation and oversight of district ABA programs.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct functional behavioral assessments (FBAs) to identify student needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on FBA results.
  • Provide ongoing consultation and support to school staff on the implementation of ABA strategies.
  • Design and deliver training sessions for teachers and paraprofessionals to enhance their skills in behavior management and ABA techniques.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of ABA programs and make necessary adjustments to ensure student success.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including special education teachers, school psychologists, and speech therapists, to support students' overall development.
  • Maintain detailed records of assessments, interventions, and progress reports.
REPORTS TO: Director of Student and Special Services
Contract Salary as outlined in the FTEA contract.
