September 1, 2024 - December 20, 2024Job DescriptionFlorence Township Memorial High School is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Long-Term Substitute Teacher for Physical Education/Health to join our team 9/1/2024 - 12/20/2024.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective physical education and health lessons in alignment with the school’s curriculum and standards.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes physical fitness, healthy lifestyles, and teamwork.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that accommodate students’ varying skill levels and learning needs.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with other staff members to support students’ overall well-being and academic success.
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe and orderly learning environment.
- Participate in school meetings, professional development, and other activities as required.
- Valid NJ Teaching License in Physical Education and Health
- Prior experience teaching physical education and health at the high school level is preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with high school students, staff, and parents.
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and respectful learning environment.
