Florida Blue (Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida) is Hiring a Provider Partnerships and Collaboration Executive (Northeast Florida) Near Florida, NY

Job DescriptionReporting to the Sr. Director Provider Partnerships & Collaboration, the Provider Partnerships & Collaboration Executive is responsible for creating high integrity relationships with medical providers in a specific region which enables GuideWell and Florida Blue to become the health plan of choice. The outcome of being the ideal partner for our providers will be to improve cost, quality, and service and together grow membership in service to our communities across all lines of businesses. The Provider Partnerships & Collaboration Executive will lead in a highly matrixed environment across multiple internal business teams to provide strategic alignment, business planning, and effective execution of the business plans for all Providers in assigned region for all lines of business.
Job Duties Include But Are Not Limited To
  • Develop trusting relationships with providers and engages with C-Suite level Executives to work together to deliver care that helps people and communities achieve better health
  • Builds & executes an engagement strategy with all strategic providers in a designated region to: improve clinical quality performance, improve operational performance, improve affordability and improve provider wellness & practice sustainability; all of these strategies will enhance customer experience as well as improve provider experience
  • Assures all regional strategies tie to enterprise and network departmental goals; develops a regional strategic direction and is accountable for shared P&L results and growth targets including -expansion efforts, clinical performance and cost of healthcare
  • Responsible for understanding and capitalizing on the regional competitive markets and identifying opportunities for the provider strategy accordingly
  • Collaborates with all applicable business areas to co-develop and assists in GuideWell and Florida Blue provider strategy
  • Takes a lead role working with the Provider Engagement Team to enhance relationships with providers
  • Collaborates with Network Management to understand and ensure there is an aligned network regional strategy
  • Responsible for understanding and working with the Network Performance Team to drive financial performance (planning, reporting, performance management, practice transformation, contract support, capitation payments, analysis, coding and budgeting with strategic provider partners)
  • Co-designs and executes the strategic provider experience and desired operational outcomes
  • Partners with other GuideWell and Florida Blue cross functional teams to ensure that all efforts with a provider are tracked and coordinated to enhance the provider experience
  • Manages a regional provider strategy to ensure all GuideWell and Florida Blue efforts are aligned with an end-to-end holistic view (people, process and technology)
  • Readily identifies with the environment in which the strategic provider operates; recognizes and supports strategic provider partner programs
  • Fosters a culture of innovation and creativity to enable GuideWell and Florida Blue to meet changing market conditions and strategy
  • Develops and implements robust performance and operational metrics
  • Works within a team environment
  • Establishes contacts and enhances relationships with healthcare professionals, including medical societies, advisory groups and community task forces by exhibiting knowledge, technical competency, reliability and professionalism
  • Identifies opportunities to mentor and coach others to achieve results, and is open to cultural and geographic diversity
  • Manages time, territory, costs and administrative requirements by effectively planning and carrying out plans to ensure that support activities are achieved at reasonable cost
Job RequirementsRelated Bachelor’s degree or additional related equivalent work experience
6 years related work experience. Experience Details: Healthcare or managed care experience with Providers Relations, Network Management and Operations
3 years direct supervisory/management experience

Annualized Salary Range: $120,000 - $195,000
Typical Annualized Hiring Range: $120,000 - $150,000
Final pay will be determined with consideration of market competitiveness, internal equity, and the job-related knowledge, skills, training, and experience you bring.
