We are seeking Certified Medical Assistants for our Winter Park and Lake Underhill location. Our Medical Assistants are involved in both the clinical and administrative areas including assisting physicians with patient card and handling clerical and organizational tasks. They provide information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinical services we provide.

Main Duties Include:

• Room patients
• Take vitals
• Enter information into EMR while in room with physicians
• Update EMR notes and keep charts accurate
• Coordinate patient care with hospitals, labs, pharmacies and others
• Assist with insurance authorizations
• Scheduling follow up appointments as well as procedure scheduling
• Keeping office, patient rooms, etc. sanitized and fully set up
• Abides by all OSHA and HIPAA compliances

Qualifications:

• Certified Medical Assistant required
• Previous medical office experience required – 2 years
• Willingness to work in multiple locations preferred
• Bi-lingual Spanish/English preferred
• Outstanding interpersonal skills with excellent phone and customer service etiquette a must!
• Compassion, integrity, pleasant demeanor, ability to multi-task
