Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: (other duties may be assigned)

• Operating Production machinery, which may include: labeler, case erector, depalletizer, filler, capper, air cleaner, unscrambler, case packer, case sealer, and other bottling machinery.
• Assist in performing line changeovers to standardized operating procedures
• Perform all responsibilities in compliance with safety, sanitation, quality and housekeeping rules. Specifically, completion of quality control plan as required
• Clean machinery to maintain optimum machine performance. This may include using tools to: scrape, wipe, sweep, squeegee.
• Troubleshoot machinery to main optimum machine performance. This may include clearing jams, adjusting/ resetting equipment, removing glue/labels.
• Loading equipment with packaging supplies.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP), perform tasks and follow general housekeeping guidelines and rules for Food Safety Regulations.
• Remove damaged products or supplies, as needed.
• Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle and control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed)
• Communicate to maintenance and supervisor any mechanical problem that occur, and any unsafe conditions
• Watch flow of materials, i.e. Cans/bottles/boxes/trays, etc into appropriate machine. Clear jams if necessary.
• Keep daily records of down time and machine operations
• Performs preventative maintenance on equipment with regards to cleaning and clearing them of debris and materials.
• Assist line mechanics in machinery repair or other tasks as needed.
• Monitor the machine while running. Check to see that all bottles, cans are packed into the box correctly.
• Must follow the work rules at all times. GMP compliance MUST be adhered to at all times.
• Understand and follow plant safety rules including safe lifting practices and safe machine operation
• Following GMP's, CCP's and QCP's at all times
• Support compliance activities associated with Food Safety Systems, Good Manufacturing Practices, Gluten-Free, Organic and Standard Operating Procedures.

• Forklift Certification preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, day or night
• Requires close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less), clear vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more), and color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors); peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Education and Experience:

• 6 months related factory/manufacturing experience preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent
