Overview :

Directs and coordinates activities of contracted services, performs miscellaneous painting and building maintenance repairs;

and performs company and postal mail services for the General Offices by performing the following duties per sonally.

Responsibilities :

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervises, coordinates, provides leadership to, and reviews the work of contracted services.

Evaluates and recommends changes in methods and procedures in as sign ed area of responsibility.

Operates postal mail machine.

Orders postal supplies and building repair materials.

Ensures safety specifications are followed by contracted services.

Operates various power tools (must make professional cuts and finishes).

Builds and repairs partitions, floors, doors, frame-work and trim.

Performs painting task, lock maintenance (including electronic door latches).

Installs glass in windows, doors and partitions.

Replaces damaged ceiling tile, floor tile, and wall coverings.

Installs items such as venetian blinds and door locks.

Installs basic electrical wiring of equipment operating on single phase energy at less than 120 volts.

Miscellaneous activities and responsibilities as assigned by manager.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Directly supervises contracted services. Responsibilities include appraising performance; ad dress ing complaints and resolving problems.

Qualifications :

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed be low are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required

Must have a valid driver’s license.

Proficient with Microsoft Office.

EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE

High school education or degree from technical school, or its equivalent; three years' related experience and / or training;

or equivalent com bin a tion of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret common technical journals. Ability to respond to common inquires, complaints or questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the gen er al public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to perform basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, division and multiplication.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems and take appropriate corrective actions.

The work environment characteristics described here are rep resentative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential func tions of this job.

The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places.

Will need to travel from Fort Pierce to Miami facilities. Travel is a must in this position.
