Exciting Career Opportunity: Ophthalmic Assistant

Florida Health Care Plans is seeking dedicated Ophthalmic Assistants to join our team. This role focuses on preparing members for various ophthalmic exams and procedures, performing essential tests as directed by the Ophthalmologist, and efficiently managing patient documentation. As an Ophthalmic Assistant, your contribution will be pivotal in supporting our Ophthalmologists and enhancing patient care.

Position Summary:

- Prepare patients for ophthalmic exams and procedures.

- Conduct routine and specific tests as ordered by the Ophthalmologist.

- Compile and manage patient documentation within Electronic Health Records.

- Assist and support Ophthalmologists to ensure a smooth and efficient patient care experience.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm
