In this role you will:
Be responsible for monitoring the Diagnostic Testing queues for their assigned locations ensuring all orders have been addressed by the end of day. They research reasons why orders were not completed at the time of service (i.e., order not submitted prior to patient check out, ordered submitted on a non-clinic day, etc.) and addresses any orders submitting outside of the clinic appointment by contacting the patient to schedule their diagnostic testing appointment, update order with appointment detail and forwards the order in Athena. Handles rescheduling of diagnostic testing appointments that have been cancelled or bumped. They monitor MRI schedules to ensure schedules are full and move forward any authorized scans to prevent gaps in the schedule and loss of revenue.
