Job Details Job Location OAWF Clearwater - Clearwater, FL Position Type Full Time Travel Percentage Up to 25% Job Shift Any Job Category Radiology/Imaging Description In this role you will : The MRI Technologist performs high quality MRI scans while delivering excellent patient care. Key Responsibilities:
Perform MRI scans on patients utilizing existing radiologist devised protocols
Provide excellent patient care & customer service to all patients being scanned
Administer IV contrast to MRI patients when requested by requisition/script
Ability to work both independently and as a team-player.
Must be flexible with schedule
Perform Weekly ACR mandated quality control on MRI scanner
Assist with image acquisition for ACR submissions
Interact with radiologists when necessary regarding protocols & special applications
Ensure MRI scan room is safely secured from general public & non-screened employees.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Maintain ARRT License/ ARMRIT certification by adhering to CEU responsibilities.
Complete Daily Totals Sheet.
Initial & verify charge tickets are matched to authorization & script.
All other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or manager
Report Statistics to MRI supervisor.
Submit peer review on a monthly basis.
Assure compliance with all company plans, policies and procedures set forth by the Florida Orthopaedic Institute
