Florida State University is Hiring a Program Associate (Medicine Orlando RMSC - College of Medicine) Near Orlando, FL

Responsibilities

* Work closely with the dean to identify and process new faculty and to move candidates through the appointment, credentialing and promotion process. Coordinate recruitment and credentialing of Orlando campus community clerkship faculty.

* Responsible for the re-credentialing of clerkship faculty to be sure they have met the reappointment requirements. Coordinate requests for promotion of clerkship faculty.

* Design, run, format and interpret reports from the faculty database, and on a monthly basis, run a faculty recruitment and credentialing status report. Maintain the FDMS database for the Orlando campus.

* Work with the campus administrator to resolve faculty payment issues; serve as the campus expert for the Payment Works system as it pertains to faculty payments.

* Responsible for tracking faculty development requirements for faculty, tracking participation in faculty development events, and coordination of said events. May be required to work evening and weekend hours on occasion to support events. Run occasional errands to local businesses. (catering, etc.) requiring the operation of a motor vehicle.

* Promote an atmosphere of teamwork in accomplishing the mission and goals of the Orlando Regional Campus.

Qualifications

High school diploma/equivalent and four years of experience; or a combination of post-high school education and experience equal to four years.

Valid Florida or Georgia Driver's License or the ability to obtain prior to hire.

* Four years of experience in a medical or educational office setting.

* Ability to demonstrate effective customer service skills.

* Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

* Ability to document existing and new processes.

* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

* Ability to gather, interpret, report, and/or edit information.

* Ability to perform accurately in a detail-oriented environment.

* Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously.

* Knowledge of applicable computer applications and basic computer functions.

* Ability to maintain accurate records and retrieve files from active or archive sources. Basic filing practices to include numeric and alphabetic systems.

* Skill in preparing clear and concise reports, policies, procedures, correspondences, and other written materials.

Considerations

This is an USPS (University Support Personnel System) position.

This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check.

This position is based in Tallahassee and is eligible for a hybrid work schedule.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. May be required to work evening and weekend hours on occasion to support events.
