Flourish Therapy is Hiring a Behavior Technician Near Saginaw, MI

Flourish Therapy is looking to hire motivated, passionate, and super fun behavior technicians to work 1:1 with a child diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders (ASD).

Behavior technicians are responsible for implementing the treatment plan or behavior plans designed by the BCBA and under the supervision of their BCBA.

Goals will be implemented by the behavior technician, but the BCBA will train you on how to implement these goals. This will be done through play, while working at a table, or out on community field trips!

We are looking to hire part time behavior technicians! We will work around your school schedule. If you enjoy working and playing with kiddos, making a difference, and want to impact a child's life - please apply!

Job duties:

  • Provide quality 1:1 ABA to children with autism focusing on communication, social, play, and adaptive skills, under the direction of an ABA Therapist (BCBA, BCaBA, QBHP)
  • Maintain confidentiality of clients
  • Attend paid quarterly meetings to promote employee collaboration and client success
  • Attend paid meetings as needed
  • Set up and take down time before each session (paid)
  • Record objective daily data to reflect client progress toward goals
  • Maintain objective daily session notes
  • Maintain effective communication with team members and supervisors
  • Creating a safe, fun, learning environment for the clients
  • Ability to life 30-50 pounds regularly if needed

Education and Experience:

  • Must possess a High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • 40- hour RBT training to obtain a Behavior Technician Certification once employed (paid if first time completing, not applicable if already completed, and not required to complete again)
  • CPR/First Aid Certification (preferred)
  • Prior ABA experience (preferred)
  • RBT certification (preferred)
  • QBS Experience (preferred)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
