Flow-Tech Systems is Hiring a Business Development Representative Near Mequon, WI

Job Description

Flow-Tech is seeking a full-time Business Development Representative (BDR) to generate new business opportunities by prospecting and qualifying leads for one or multiple product lines. As BDR, you will serve as the first point of contact for potential customers and nurture prospects through the sales funnel. In doing so, your main objective is to prospect and move qualified leads through the pipeline to senior team members.

Essential Job Functions

  • Identify potential end users for specified divisions and product lines of Flow-Tech through high volume prospecting (70-100 activities per day) through LinkedIn, email, and phone
  • Conduct initial conversations to identify potential applications where Flow-Tech’s technology can benefit an end user’s operation
  • Communicate value and return on investment (ROI), technical functionality of a given product line
  • Book meetings with qualified leads to introduce them to senior members of the business development team
  • Provide direct support to business development team
  • Collaborate with management to expand sales pipeline that leads to closed revenue
  • Research and understand various lines of business and personas

  • Basic knowledge of sales and marketing principles
  • Must be comfortable with outbound prospecting and networking
  • Detail oriented and able to provide regular, thorough reports to manager
  • Must have demonstrated the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and complete projects on schedule and on budget
  • Analyze, organize, and problem solve frequently and efficiently
  • Ability to communicate status and actions effectively
  • Must be comfortable working in a dynamic small company environment, helping the entire team and company succeed

Compensation and Benefits:

The compensation for this position is commensurate with performance. In addition to a base salary, Business Development Representatives have multiple opportunities to achieve performance bonuses in a given year. Full-time employees are given ten days of paid time off per year, may participate in a 401K retirement plan, and may elect to enroll in the company-sponsored health plan.
