Floyd's Truck Center, Inc is Hiring a Facilities Maintenance (FT or PT) Near Cheyenne, WY

Position Summary:
To ensure the facilities are neat and clean for both the customer and co-worker safety. To assist in the departments running smoothly by being flexible to shift where assigned. To maintain a positive outlook and willingness to help where requested.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Ensure customers have a great first and last impression of our location’s facilities.
  • Manager may provide detailed cleaning list separate to this job description
  • Assist the Parts, Service, and other departments, as needed, with cleanliness and organization when requested or apparent need.
  • Maintain a clean appearance of the general facilities as directed by supervisor.
  • Performs routine building maintenance in such a manner as to minimize interruption of customers or employees.
  • Maintains and cleans all trash receptacles, inside and outside. Performs daily yard checks for cleanliness.
  • Handle requests courteously and quickly.
  • Greet outside customers quickly and in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Uses proper eye, hand, and body protection when using products that require protection.
  • Follow all MSDS guidelines and protocols
  • Performs other duties as assigned, including but not limited to:
  • Opens the Driver’s Lounge (Monday Friday as directed by each location). Turn on all the lights, make coffee, make sure it is clean and ready for use. Washer and dryer ready for use, bathrooms are functional and in good working order.
  • Minor building repairs: include but not limited to: Electrical, Lighting, light plumbing issues, building repairs.
  • Summer work: mow and pull weeds, water plants as needed. Wintertime: shovel snow and de-ice walkways as needed.

  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.

  • Ability to meet company's production and quality standards.
  • Able and willing to work flexible hours. Able to receive and follow directions.

Physical Requirements
This position requires you tomove throughout the company facility for most of the shift. Stand and walk for prolonged periods. Bending, twisting and/or stooping, kneeling, or squatting on a regular and prolonged basis, and infrequently seated. Lifting over 50lbs on a regular basis. This position also could involve climbing stairs and ladders, reaching and/or lifting overhead on a regular basis. On a regular basis this position involves repetitive hand/finger movement, grasping/grabbing with hands, and pushing & pulling motions.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
